Mayangan – Final Liga Pelajar Tahun 2022 digelar sore tadi (03/03) di stadion Bayuangga, Kota Probolinggo. Setelah melalui babak penyisihan yang ketat, terdapat empat tim yang maju ke babak final. Dari dua belas tim yang terbagi dalam dua kelompok, yang maju sebagai finalis adalah SMPN1, SMPN3, SMPN 7 dan MTsN Kota Probolinggo.
Untuk perebutan juara 3 dan 4,antara SMPN 1 dengan SMPN 3 dimenangkan oleh SMPN 1 dengan skor 2:1. Sedangkan untuk perebutan juara, antara MTsN dengan SMPN 7 dimenangkan oleh tim MTsN dengan skor 1:0.
Plt. Kepala Kepemudaan, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata (Dispopar) Kota Probolinggo, Fadjar Poernomo mengatakan bahwa liga pelajar kali ini sudah sesuai dengan harapan. “Sudah terpilih empat tim terbaik, pemain terbaik, pencetak gol terbanyak dan juga pelatih terbaik.” Katanya. Dia juga menambahkan bahwa event ini akan menjadi event tahunan. “karena pembibitan ini sesuai dengan kegiatan provinsi (Jawa Timur) juga, mewakili daerah untuk berlaga di Liga Pelajar tingkat provinsi,” tambahnya.
Fadjar juga berharap agar kegiatan ini dapat menjadi tempat pembinaan bagi pemain muda di Kota Probolinggo. “Mudah-mudahan dengan ajang ini kedepannya, pembibitan di Kota Probolinggo lebih berkembang lagi dan mendukung prestasi sepakbola khususnya yang masih belum kembali bergaung, semoga lebih bagus dan lebih berprestasi,” harapnya. Perlu diketahui, para tim yang berlaga di Liga Pelajar Tahun 2022 kali ini merupakan tim yang lolos di Pra Liga Pelajar yang diadakan di tahun 2021 kemarin. (antz/dispopar)

2022 Student League Final was held this afternoon (03/03) at the Bayuangga Stadium, Probolinggo City. After tight preliminary round, there were four teams that succeed to the final round. Of the twelve teams divided into two groups, SMPN 1, SMPN 3, SMPN 7 and MTsN Probolinggo City were the finalists.
For the 3rd and 4th places rank, the game was between SMPN 1 and SMPN 3, and SMPN 1 won with a score of 2:1. As for the champion, between MTsN and SMPN 7, MTsN team won with a score of 1:0.
Acting Head of Probolinggo City Youth, Sports and Tourism Agency (Dispopar), Fadjar Poernomo said that this student league had run as expected. “The four best teams have been selected, the best players, the top scorers and also the best coaches.” he said. He also added that this event would become an annual event. “Because this coaching is in accordance with East Java provincial agenda as well, and it will be representing the city to compete in provincial level Student League,” he added.
Fadjar also hopes that this activity can become a training ground for young players in Probolinggo City. “Hopefully with this event, in the future, the coaching for young players in Probolinggo City will develop even more and will get more in football achievements especially since it is still lack of achievement, hopefully it will be better and get more achievement,” he hoped. For information, the teams competing in the 2022 Student League this time were the qualified teams of Pre Student League which was held in 2021.
