Kedopok – Dinas Kepemudaan. Olahraga dan Pariwisata (Dispopar) Kota Probolinggo mengharapkan dukungan seluruh elemen masyarakat dalam menghidupkan kembali sektor pariwisata. Hal tersebut terlihat dari diadakannya kerja bhakti di GOR Mastrip, hari ini, Jum’at (26/03). Kerja bhakti ini tidak hanya melibatkan Dispopar, tetapi juga Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH), Paguyuban Peduli Sampah (Papesa), dan Kecamatan Kedopok. Kerja bhakti difokuskan pada halaman GOR Mastrip.
Hal ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari rapat koordinasi yang dilakukan sebelumnya, Rabu (24/03) di ruang kerja kepala Dispopar. Rapat yang dihadiri perwakilan DLH, Kecamatan Kedopok dan Papesa membahas tentang permasalahan sampah yang ada di GOR Mastrip. Dalam kesempatan itu, Budi Krisyanto, kepala Dispopar mengatakan bahwa ada beberapa permasalahan sampah yang menjadi peer bagi Dispopar. “Padahal di area GOR Mastrip sudah ada rumah kompos dan mesin pengolah sampah yang difasilitasi oleh DLH Kota Probolinggo,” katanya.
Menurut M. Jalil, salah satu pegawai GOR Mastrip, sampah yang susah dikumpulkan akan berserakan kembali karena tidak ada tempat pembuangan sampah. “Bila dikirim ke TPA (Tempat Pembuangan Akhir), akan ditolak dengan alasan TPA penuh,” jelasnya. Selama ini, memang ada satu pegawai yang pernah mengikuti pelatihan untuk mengoperasikan mesin pengolah sampah, tetapi pegawai tersebut tidak aktif. Maka dari itu, setelah kerja bhakti dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan secara singkat bagaimana cara mengolah sampah oleh DLH Kota Probolinggo kepada pegawai GOR Mastrip.
Budi Krisyanto mengharapkan agar GOR Mastrip bisa dijadikan salah satu tempat wisata bagi masyarakat yang ada di wilayah selatan. “Pengolahan sampah ini juga bertujuan untuk menjadikan kawasan GOR Mastrip menjadi kawasan wisata edukasi tentang pengolahan sampah,” katanya. (antz/dispopar)
Dispopar Holds Kerja Bakti at GOR Mastrip
Dispopar – Youth, Sports and Tourism Agency (Dispopar) of Probolinggo City expects the support of all elements of society in reviving the tourism sector. It is shown from kerja bakti (community work) held at GOR Mastrip today, on Friday (26/03). Not only Dispopar, but this community work also involves Environment Agency (DLH), Paguyuban Peduli sampah (Papesa/Waste Care Community), and Kedopok Sub-District. The community work is focused on the GOR Mastrip yard.
It is a follow-up action to the coordination meeting that was held earlier, on Wednesday (24/03) at the office of the Head of Dispopar. The meeting, which was attended by representatives of DLH, Kedopok sub-districts and Papesa, discussed the waste problems at the Mastrip GOR. On that occasion, Budi Krisyanto, the head of Dispopar said that there were several waste problems that became a homework for Dispopar. “In fact, in the Mastrip GOR area there is already a composting house and a waste processing machine facilitated by the DLH of Probolinggo City,” he said.
According to M. Jalil, an employee of GOR Mastrip, garbage will be scattered again whether it is collected since there is no garbage disposal. “If it is sent to the TPA (Final Disposal Site), it will be rejected since the TPA is full,” he explained. So far, there is indeed one employee who has been trained to operate a waste processing machine, but that employee is not active. Therefore, after the community work, it was continued by a brief training on how to process the waste, and it is coached by Environment Agency for employees of GOR Mastrip.
Budi Krisyanto hopes that GOR Mastrip can be used as a tourist spot for people in the southern region of Probolinggo city. “This waste processing also aims to turn the GOR Mastrip area into an educational tourism area about waste management,” he said. (unofficial translation)
